I always like to photograph rust, because it gives a very interesting result. The color of rust can vary from yellow to dark red, and the pattern is unpredictable. Thank you, Tom.
What a splendid find, here! Any guesses as to which era this mooring ring predates? Really quite a nice collection of scenic images from your explorations, I particularly enjoyed the one on the water featuring the rocky fjordscape and gulls which I perused among others…..

Cool shot! I know I share mostly birds, but I love to photograph anything rusty. Rust has great color and textures! 🙂
I absolutely agree with you. Rust always gives very interesting colors and patterns.Thank you.
Great shot! 🙂 Rust (i.e., oxidation) happens in our bodies as we age; that’s why antioxidants are important.
