Ooops, I replied in the wrong place. Here it is again: It’s 95% monochromatic anyway; what hues that are in it are so muted that I’d leave it to stand on its own. It’s a very attractive image. Printable.
Thanks a lot, Don. When I saw this reflection, I had no choice – I have to take this photo. This photo may not have many colors, but in some ways it accurately describes this city.
Not really, I have to honestly say that I was just lucky to see this reflection. It took me a while to select a viewing angle, but that’s all. Thank you.
I especially like the desaturated colors and the transition of the paving stones into the reflection on the right. I am not sure if the hole cover is an enrichment or maybe a bit disturbing 😉
Beautiful! There’s something about bricks and pavements and stones that is just beautiful and timeless!😁
Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m glad you like it.

Lovely use of geometry, light and water.
Thanks, John. Do you think it will look better, like a black and white photo?

Marvelous. Somehow, Escher-like in the textures and order.
Thank you very much for your high appreciation.

Thanks.
Wow! Wonderful shot. The stone gives it a beautiful cubist look.

I know what you mean. When you see a piece of photographic treasure like this, you just have to take the shot. They don’t come around often. 🙂
Inspired photo!
Thank you.
Amazing contrast of lines in the reflection. 😊
Thank you very much, Irene. I always like to photograph reflection. Sometimes this can provide a very interesting look for ordinary things.
Well, this one is stunning. ❤️
Reblogged this on ausevor.
Nicely done!
Thank you, Michael.
I love the reflections. It all looks so magical and multi-layered.
Thank you.
Thank you for your reply. Fortunately Lightroom allows creating monochrome images and I will try to do that.
By all means. It’s as quick as a slider. See if you agree with me.
This really took some artistic planning.

Excellent! 🙂 Something to reflect on…
Thanks a lot, Tom.

Thanks for your comments. I tried to avoid showing the sewer cover, but unfortunately I could not find a good shooting point to do this.
