Animals are usually very cautious and require a telephoto lens to photograph them. But when I go kayaking and photographing it is very difficult to use such a heavy lens. Thank you, Dolly.

These are fine-looking turtles. Most of the ones I come across are sandy or muddy, and not nearly so slicked up.
Maybe because they were river turtles, and the flowing water cleared them well. Thank you.
