That’s right, “Inviting” was the same word that came to my mind when I saw this photo. Recently I saw another photo with the same atmosphere here. Many photographers nowadays think and / or write that they find no “inspiration” because they are home bound by the Covid rules. But carefully “look” and see beyond just the image that falls on your retina, and maybe you “see” more than just an image. Great shot !
Thanks a lot Mark. I really like walking around Boston. On the one hand, I enjoy the atmosphere of this old and modern city, and on the other hand, it gives me many opportunities to catch something interesting. Maybe right now I don’t do it as often as I want due to covid, but I still try to be outside and take pictures.
Many thanks. Fortunately, we have many of these entrances in Boston. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to choose which one to photograph – all are beautiful.
So inviting — and with an Amazon box on the stoop! That made me laugh.
Thank you. You are very attentive, I didn’t even notice this box until you wrote.

Ha! I thought that box was a cat! This is a stunning entrance. Love the warm glow.
I was very attracted to this warm, inviting lighting. Thank you.
Reblogged this on ausevor.
The golden hue, makes it feel, not only inviting but promising of opportunities, warmth, and abundance acceptance.
Thank you very much. This golden lighting creates a sense of warmth, which is very pleasant on a long cold winter night.
Yes I can imagine so.
