A touch of sunset, some clouds, a little water and something in the foreground that brings balance – my favorite pictures, just great.

Thanks a lot Marc. The view was very simple as you described it, but its simplicity was very pleasant. And I decided it was worth sharing.

Many thanks. The sunset sky always amazes me. Sometimes the colors are very bright and sometimes almost pastel. But they are always beautiful.

Thanks a lot Mark. To be honest, I planned this shot in anticipation of a relatively clear sunset and cold weather with some ice on the river, but the result exceeded my expectations. I’m glad you liked it.

Many thanks. To be honest, I didn’t think about that aspect of this photo, but each eye has its own personality. And two different people can see the same thing in different ways.

I rowed on the Charles for many years during high school, college, and as a member of a club. I did most of my rowing in Worcester and in Lowell. Then I became a referee and spend many more years on the Charles. I officiate at the Head of the Charles before I retired from refereeing. Nice shot.

Thank you very much. Most of the time I paddle on two parts of the Charles River (Boston and Waltham). I’ve never tried rowing in Lovell or Worcester, but I think I’ll try next season.
