Thank you very much, Rebecca. I don’t know if I’m lucky or not, but I haven’t seen snakes here yet.

Thank you very much, Dolly. I try to enjoy this beautiful surrounding and not think about scary things like snakes. Unfortunately, there are many things worse than snakes and dangers in our life, for example, the last night tragedy in Miami.

You are so right, Vova. However, you people have all been misinformed; it’s in South Florida, but in Boca Raton, rather than Miami. We have been getting frantic phone calls from all over the world, but we are about 40 miles south of there. It is a terrible tragedy!

I know that the media are always in a rush with the latest news and sometimes they make mistakes. And I understand you, because yesterday I got a call from Israel with questions about our relatives living in Florida. But in any case, 4 are already dead and almost 100 are missing. This is a great tragedy.

I stand corrected: it is much closer to us than originally reported by the media. It’s about 15 miles away, and we know a few people in the area. % are dead and 156 are missing – terrible!

We are doing a lot more here. There is a community relief effort through local synagogues (most of the victims are observant Jews), while colleges and universities have opened their own Volunteer Registration Hot Lines. People in the area have opened their homes for survivors.

Unfortunately, with all the efforts expended, there is no happy ending. There is only hope that there will be as few victims as possible and that more will be able to be saved.

Survivors have lost everything, but first and foremost roof over their heads. That was the first necessity. Their money and documents are also gone, and until everything is reinstated, they have to eat and have some clothes to cover themselves. Besides every else, they need emotional support to help them get over the trauma. We can’t help those who have perished, tragically, other than pray for their souls to rest in peace, but we can – and do! – help survivors.
