Thank you very much. While I’m not a huge fan of Stephen King, I agree with you. The style is appropriate.

My sons, going through their teenage years, got me hooked on Stephen King. I always made a point of reading what they read and listening to what they listened to so as to be able to discuss it with them.
What I meant, though, is that it is exactly this kind of view that has been inspiring King all these years.

Since everyone around me was talking about his books, I decided that I needed to read some of them in order to be familiar. But after reading them, I realized that this would not be my first choice in the future. But everyone has their own taste.

Certainly. My husband also does not like horror or the supernatural. Yet King has written about a pandemic of flu that destroyed humanity. If effect, he had predicted the horror of Covid.

For some reason, the pandemic is very popular with writers. Even Albert Camus wrote about this many decades ago.

Unfortunately this is not first pandemic and not the last one. It looks we are very bad students and do not want to learn history.

Thank you very much. I totally agree with you – not all photographs need to be in color, and not all images need to be black and white. But there were no colors in this scene, and using monochrome allowed me to add more contrast to create a more dramatic look.
