Frozen lakes and frozen feelings and camping on ice … good to be alive and feel your own heart beats and the pulse of your warm blood | Nothing like black and white photography …

Thanks a lot. I liked the view, but I wasn’t ready to stay there for long – it was very cold. The lack of interesting colors naturally led ме to the decision to take this photo in black and white.

Thank you very much. This is the beauty of Massachusetts. We are a relatively small state, and everything is very close to each other. This lake is another example of this – the distance between amazing downtown Boston and this wonderful lake is probably 15 miles.

Thank you very much. A winter with a lot of snow naturally leads to a preference for black and white photography. I was lucky because this winter we didn’t have many snowy days and the snow didn’t lie for a long time.

Yes, winter has been very kind to us this year. We have had a couple of heavy snowfalls, but the total amount of snow that has fallen is not that significant.

I love taking pictures with snow, but this year I was not lucky enough to capture interesting views.

Amazing!! The monochrome effect accentuates the greyness of the ice on ground and on the skies! A sharp contrast to the play of colors we are used to seeing in your posts.

Thank s a lot. I have never hidden the fact that I like colors, but sometimes a monochrome image is more impressive. And I think that this photo is just that case.

Thank you very much. Winter has some beauty when the snow is fresh and clean. But it doesn’t happen that often. Spring will bring a lot of colors that will be nice to look at. We are all waiting for this.

Thanks a lot. Black and white photography can do amazing things. This allows you to create very interesting photos even from not very remarkable views.
