It’s the humity that kills you. We’ve had some 100 degree days already, it’s a hotter than normal summer for us. Texas summer’s are brutal. Don’t visit here from June to Sept.

Texas is an intersting state. It’s so big you can see many different types of climates and cultures. The Austin/Hill Country area is my favorite. It’s green, lots of trees but still a big city, lots of good food, a big lake and great music.
I have a question. I’m not up on world affairs so maybe you can shed some light. Why hasn’t Poland given Ukraine jets to defend themselves? Why have this war linger on for years, we can’t give them jets but can’t Poland?

To be honest, I don’t understand this situation either. For some reason unknown to me, Poland does not want to give this aircraft directly. They want to use the NATO air base in Germany as a staging area, and the US does not agree. They also want American replacements for these ex-Soviet aircraft. And it will take a long time. Politics is a very complex thing.
