Thank you very much. I love photographing them too, but often they are not as clean and presentable to photograph. Luckily, these two took care of their looks.
My dad told me about how he grew up with a turtle that he named Yertle. He would tell me about how it would sunbathe outside of its pond almost daily during the spring and summer. I’ve always wanted a turtle, but sadly, we already have too many animals in our small apartment. We are hoping for a house soon, though, so I can grow my small zoo 😂🐢
I actually Googled it after seeing your photos and was surprised to learn that although rare, some turtles do climb trees. Perhaps not the variety you captured. It’s a great photo regardless.
I enjoy seeing your lovely photos photos…they always brighten my day. I don’t know what happened—maybe I hit a wrong button 🙄—but somehow, unfollowed your blog. Have followed again.
Awsome
Thank you.
I love that shot. Fantastic.
Thanks a lot.

Oh, I will have to show this to my song when he wakes up. Turtles are his passion right now.
son; I should never type after wine o’clock.
No problem. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for sharing this shot.
Beautiful
Thank you.
I love the turtles 🐢 they’re such cool animals, and you got a great shot of them!
Thank you very much. I like to watch them as they rest in the sun.

Of course! Thank you for sharing your photography 😃
It’s my pleasure.
This is the first I’ve learned that turtles can climb! Excellent (and educational) capture!
Thank you. In fact, they don’t climb. This snag is not so steep.

Many thanks for the interesting information.
Indeed! Very nice shot! How did you get the black background? Is this shot flashed in the dark? (If you’d prefer not to say, that’s alright.)
Thank you very much. No. I took this photo on a bright sunny day, and the dark background was a shady river bank.
I love turtles! Wonderful picture. Red-eared sliders, perhaps?
Thanks a lot. I’m no expert on this, but I think you’re right.

Omg! This is the very best picture ever! I love it!
Many thanks.
I am so glad they spent the money to clean the Charles River (Dirty Water) I just love my home city of Beantown.
Thank you. I’m also glad because I spend a lot of time on the Charles River.
It is a lovely spot in the city proper.
You are absolutely right.
