Monstrous mysterious monochrome photo – awesome!
Thank you very much. At first I wanted to post the color version, but after a more detailed comparison, I decided that the black and white version was more interesting.
Excellent use of black and white. It makes the clouds behind look like the smoke of a forest fire and gives the whole thing a powerful and bleak atmosphere!
Thank you so much for supporting me choose the black and white version of this photo.
Is there a bird on the branch?
Yes. There was a bird on the branch. And I wanted to photograph this bird. But, unfortunately, my zoom lens could not get a closer look at this bird. Thank you.
Still a nice Black and white shot.
Black and white has an unmatched charm. 🙂
Thank you very much. I agree with you. This photo was good in color, but it looks much better in black and white.
Yes. Blake and white lets one be imaginative and guess the color.
Absolutely beautiful shot. I love how this photo feels both eerie and beautiful at the same time. It brought about a lot of emotions. Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo
Thanks a lot. I had the same impression when I saw this bare tree surrounded by trees full of life. I think that the use of a monochrome image only enhanced the impression.
I agree with you 100%. It’s sort of like the beauty of life and death
Your definition is more precise.
I did a drawing after my best friend died that had a similar theme to it. It was a dying rose with a hummingbird flying off of it
I’m sorry my picture left you such a sad memory.
It actually did the opposite. I’m so happy I got to see your picture, as it is such a beautiful representation of this aspect. It’s sad that Arlyn is not with us anymore, but I always remember the wonderful memories we had together. There’s no need to apologize 😊
I’m glad this photo doesn’t cause sadness.
Not at all. It’s too beautiful for that! 🥰
You’re very welcome 😊
Thank you very much.
You are welcome!
Fascinating – it looks like a bushfire here in Australia. I suppose this is how bad the climate problems are, when normal sky and normal tree look like an imminent disaster!
Thank you very much. Luckily, this is just a look. But it’s true that the climate is changing in reality and changing not for the better.
Reproducing a dry tree in black and white usually gives very good results.
A very attractive image
Thanks a lot. I am sure that colors and black and white photographs have their advantages. We just have to know them and how and when to use them.
