I hate to admit this, but the first thing I heard in my head when I saw your title was “Should I stay or should I go?” by The Clash. Your photo deserves a far better first thought, but everything’s a song to me. Love the leaves that have partially changed in the background. Great composition!

Thanks a lot. This backdrop of yellowish leaves with a forward looking pose helped me decide on a title for this photo.

Thank you very much. I am glad that I was able to capture this bird in such a pose against such an autumn background.

Thank you very much, Marc. I was lucky this season because I had many opportunities to take interesting photographs of the heron and they allowed me to do so.

This is an amazing shot. The colours are great.
Here’s a poem that sprang to my mind.

The colors of the fall season
With the beautiful shades of gray
    Motionless on a branch
    Enjoying an autumn day

Thank you very much. This is a very elegant bird, so I always try to photograph them whenever possible.

Your pictures are transportive. I wish I could touch them and be there. Which is something I often fancy with paintings.
This reminds me of the heron that visits my family’s pond regularly. I was taking pictures of it just the other day. (though with just an iPhone camera)

Thank you very much. It doesn’t matter what camera you have. The most important thing is your ability to see and the desire to share what you see with others.
