Its shiny feathers looks like shiny roof tiles, I guess we as human mimic nature to survive the elements. So unique, it’s the first time I’ve come across such a bird. Thanks yeah..
Thank you so much. When I see a turkey, I have two feelings. On the one hand, this bird can be very dangerous, but on the other hand, he looks very beautiful.
This wild turkey looks so peaceful. All I could think was how soon Thanksgiving was coming. Hope this one doesn’t land on someone’s table. Beautiful bird.
Wow! Did not know about these turkey characteristics. Thanks for the education.
You are welcome!

One sign of a turkey’s aggressiveness is the size of the turkey’s red nose. In the photo, such a nose is very small, but I saw that before the attack, this nose becomes huge.
I guess the huge red nose means much blood goes to that area so the turkey can attack. Very interesting, all I have known was seeing turkeys in the grocery store and on the Thanksgiving table. Thank you!

I hope the turkey doesn’t have a big red nose on your Thanksgiving table.
Love the photo, though for some reason, the closed eyes almost look creepy to me, like it’s a zombie turkey. I know, weird. It’s a great photograph and I echo what the others above have said.
It is beautiful but it is also fact that Cooking and eating turkey is associated with festivities like Thanksgiving and Christmas especially in America and many parts of Europe.
He looks at ease. Dangerously reclined.
Thank you. Indeed, he looks very calm, but who knows what awaits ours next.
Lol
Wonderful photo! Thank’s for share, Vova Zinger.
Thank you very much, Elvira.
You are welcome, Vova Zinger.

gosh, dear me… I have only seen it in real life defeathered for a Christmas feast. Shows how sheltered I’ve been all my life.
Fortunately, we can see them in real life very often.
When you say resting turkey, I expect to see one just out of the oven, letting the juices set before carving!
Many thanks. This is New England, where turkeys still roam freely everywhere.
Nice find. I see one every morning on my way to work along a busy parkway. They have adapted to the parks and woods near large urban areas.
Thank you very much. We also have a chance to see these birds walking around the city.
I guess not too many predators in cities.

He looks so peaceful, but this is a deceiving impression. The turkey can be very dangerous and aggressive. Thank you.

Thank you.
the texture on the feathers look amazing! great shot.
Thank you very much. For some reason, this turkey allowed me to get really close, so I was able to capture even more detail than I expected.
So cool to get that close to a turkey. Very nice!
Yes, I was glad to take this picture.
He looks beautiful. It reminds me of the Turkey my family used to own. It was white in color.
Since I live in the city, I have always seen turkeys in motion. I saw a resting turkey for the first time and it attracted me. Thank you.
I have seen resting Turkeys a lot of times, I’ve never taken a picture though.
You are probably luckier than me.
😂😂. You’ve seen way more animals than me, so, you’re the luckiest one here.
I would like to see even more.
Yeah, me too.
This looks like a painting! Great shot!
Many thanks.
Looks so majestic! A wonderful photo, Vova!

Thank you very much. I think there is nothing strange when a resting bird closes its eyes.
amazing shot😍
Thank you.
Absolutely stunning! We have so many turkeys where I live. This photo makes me so happy!
Many thanks. We also have a lot of turkeys. Sometimes, crossing the road, they even create traffic jams. But this one is just resting.
I know right, they’re such cheeky birds! Love them.
