What a dreamy photo. Is this is your area? I noticed the ramps; clearly there’s quite some tidal movement. Our tidal range is only about a foot or two — no ramps needed!

Thank you very much. Yes, this is a suburb of Boston and our tide range averages around 8-9 feet. Sometimes even more on a full moon.

The clouds are very interesting. I found the variation of grays, white, and blue unifying. The pier adds interest, along with the man under it on the right.

Thank you very much. I agree with you, but by photographing, I can add personality to the look. I tried to use a smartphone, but the result did not satisfy me, so I still use the camera. I am currently using a Canon 80D.

Nowadays, digital cameras are very convenient to use. You don’t need to be a professional to use them. Thank you.

In my experience, the only way to fix this problem is to take pictures and experiment with camera settings.
